vii Bolt the outdoor enclosure to the four mounting points on the cable
storage compartment using the supplied #8-16 X 1/2 self tapping
screws; see Figure NTP 160-4.
viii Position the I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor enclosure, as
shown in Figure NTP 160-7.
ix Secure the I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor enclosure.
x Go to step 6.
b If you are not using an FSST:
i Open the TELCO access cover on the outdoor enclosure after loosening
the TELCO 216 screw.
ii Secure the outdoor enclosure to the mounting area at the subscriber
premises. Use the appropriate hardware as defined by local installation
practices. Mount the outdoor enclosure using the specified mounting
holes.
iii Position the I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor enclosure, as
shown in Figure NTP 160-7.
iv Secure the I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor enclosure.
v Go to step 6.
6 Review the connection locations for the following ONT configurations:
• Figure NTP 160-6 for the I-211M-K ONT
• Figure NTP 160-7 for the I-211M-L ONT within an outdoor enclosure
• Figure NTP 160-8 for the I-211M-L ONT within a Just Inside enclosure
Note — Observe the following:
• Do not overtighten the ONT bracket when securing the I-211M-L
indoor ONT to the outdoor enclosure. The unit can become skewed
and compromise the environmental seal of the ONT mounted in the
outdoor enclosure.
Note — Observe the following:
• The TELCO access cover of the outdoor enclosure must be open to
access the three mounting holes used to secure the outdoor
enclosure to the wall.
Note — Observe the following:
• Do not overtighten the ONT bracket when securing the I-211M-L
indoor ONT to the outdoor enclosure. The unit can become skewed
and compromise the environmental seal of the ONT mounted in the
outdoor enclosure.
