Amplifier Module Indicators
Indicator Type Indication
supply Green LED Illuminates to indicate that power is present at the amplifier.
select Green LED
Illuminates to indicate that the amplifier is selected for audio monitoring by
the system.
fault Amber LED
Illuminates steadily to indicate that an amplifier module fault has
been detected.
Flashes to indicate that a loudspeaker line fault has been detected.
0 dB Green LED Illuminates at approx. 90 V RMS output.
−20 dB
Green LED Illuminates at approx. 10 V RMS output.
−40 dB
Green LED Illuminates at approx. 1 V RMS output.

Mainframe Indicators
Indicator Type Indication
mains Green LED
Illuminates to indicate that the AC mains is present and the unit is
switched on.
battery Green LED
Illuminates to indicate that the DC power is present and the unit is
switched on.
aux Green LED
Illuminates to indicate that auxiliary DC power is available at the
rear panel AUX OUT terminals and that the AUX OUT fuse is intact.
ethernet Green LED Illuminates to indicate that the Ethernet connection is operational.
Flashes slowly to indicate that the iPAM400 is operational, i.e., both
the Controller and the Amplifier Motherboard processors are
operational.
Flashes fast to indicate that the iPAM400 application is not running.
This is normal after powering up or restarting the iPAM400, or
when the iPAM400
application has intentionally been shut down.

For iPAM400 with amplifier frame firmware version
older than V1.1.0206 the flashing indication is the
opposite way around.
sync Green LED
Illuminates steadily to indicate that NTP audio synchronisation has
been achieved across the network.
Flashes to indicate that an NTP source has been detected and
synchronisation is being acquired.
Turned off: no NTP synchronisation.
fault Amber LED Illuminates if a fault is diagnosed.

1) All LEDs are turned on and off in sequence and uninterruptedly to indicate that a memory fault has
been detected and the mainframe needs replacing.
2) All LEDs are turned on and off in unison to indicate that either of the following occurred:
• The Amplifier Mainframe configuration has been cleared.
• A mainframe firmware download has failed.
