1) Note that if the amplifiers are connected as a system which is permanently connected to the mains, then an all-
pole mains isolator with a separation of 3 mm in each pole shall be incorporated in the electrical installation.
2) The mains power supply cable must be terminated with the IEC connector provided (BULGIN PX0587) in order for
the retaining clip to fit properly. Spare is available from ASL; see Table 6 (page 116).
3) A pre-assembled battery supply cable (1.5 m length, LSZH cable) can be ordered separately; see Table 6
(page 116).
4) For EMC compliance:
• Screened cables must be used where specified.
• All screen tails must be <3 cm.
5) Fire rated equivalent cables can be used for safety critical applications.
Refer to BS7671:2008 (Requirements for Electrical Installations) or other appropriate local standards for guidelines
on maximum potential cable lengths given the actual installation parameters.
