6.2.2 Connecting Remotely via a SSH (Secure SHell) Session (for a host PC running
Linux)
To Open a SSH Session:
An SSH session can be opened from a host
PC running Linux.
1. Power and start the iPAM400, if not
already done.
2. Run “ssh root@hostname or IP
address”.
In the example “iPAM400_001” is
the hostname.
The iPAM400 IP address or hostname
can be found in your system design
documentation.
ssh root@iPAM400_001
3. If this is the first time that you log into
this iPAM400, it will ask if you wish to
add the remote host to a list of
known_hosts.
Enter “yes” to proceed.
The authenticity of host ‘iPAM400_001
(216.9.132.134)’ can't be established.
