8 Maintenance
The iPAM400 should be tested with the PA (Public Address) system for correct operation, at maximum
intervals of three months, and as part of the system maintenance schedule.
There are no routine maintenance tasks for the iPAM400 except for operational testing.
The following sections describe maintenance tasks, which can be carried out when required.
Tool Requirement:
A small flat-bladed screwdriver.
Pozidriv screwdrivers (No 1 and No 3).

Please read and observe the instructions and guidelines in Section “12 Safety and
Precautions” (page 129) when carrying out any maintenance tasks. Failure to follow these
instructions and guidelines may cause personal injury and/or damage to the equipment.
8.1 Removing the Front Panel
Remove the iPAM400 front panel by undoing the two
captive M3 Pozidriv screws on the right side of the
front panel.
