Warnings (Figure 19):
1) Input “Al
y
” can be any of the analogue input channels of the BMB01 (Al1 to Al12).
Input “Al
y
” to be configured as ANS.
2) When used as interface to an ANS sensor, an analogue input channel of the BMB01 needs to be fitted
with a 240 Ω ¼ W 1% resistor (Farnell 9341587) between the input channel and ground.
In standard rack mounting this may be conveniently fitted at the rack entry DIN rail terminals or where
the ANS wiring enters the BMB01’s mounting enclosure.
3) A T100 mA fuse (Farnell 1123190) is required in the ANS power supply wiring.
In standard rack mounting this may be conveniently provided by using a fused DIN rail terminal where
the ANS wiring enters the equipment rack.
4) The cable screen should be terminated to the screw terminal that is located inside the ANS back box.
5) ANS sensors can be configured on different BMB01 units.
Up to twelve ANS sensors can be configured on each BMB01 unit.
Any number of ANS sensors configured on the iPAM400 can be assigned for each amplifier.
Notes (Figure 19):
1) The Auxiliary DC Output (AUX OUT) can alternatively be used to power the BMB01.
2) Refer to the BMB01 user documentation for details; see Table 7 (page 132).
3) Cabling requirements: see Section “4.2.2 External Cabling Requirements” (page 29).
4) Refer to the ANS user documentation for details; see Table 7 (page 132).
5) Refer to Section “6.1 Generating a Configuration File” (page 59) for configuration details.
