5.1 Installing the software
Use the following instructions to install ToolsTalk BLM software.
1. In Windows 7 or later, run the setup file.
2. If the Software Installation box displays, click Continue Anyway.
3. If other versions of ToolsTalk BLM are already installed, the following message is displayed:
The installation process detected the following ToolsTalk BLM versions
are already installed on the system:
- ToolsTalk BLM x.y.0
- ...
Do you want to uninstall all the listed versions before to continue with
the new installation?
• Click Yes to uninstall all the versions already installed.
• Click No to install the new version without deleting the version already installed.
4. On the ToolsTalk BLM Setup Wizard dialog box, click Next.
5. On the next dialog box, select the option I accept the terms of the License
Agreement. Then click Next.
6. Specify the destination folder of the ToolsTalk BLM software, and then click Install.
7. Wait until the License Registration dialog box displays. When shown, click Ok to complete the
installation.
8. On the ToolsTalk BLM Setup Wizard dialog box, select the Run ToolsTalk BLM option. Click
Finish to exit the Setup Wizard. ToolsTalk BLM runs automatically.
Once the installation is complete, the ToolsTalk BLM shortcut appears on the desktop:
The Atlas Copco Tools AB folder is added to the Windows Start menu.
5.2 Registering the software
After installing the software, register at http://softreg1.atlascopco.com/main2.asp?toSoftreg=true; if there
is no registration, the software works as demo for 60 days.
Once the software is installed, enter the registration form by clicking Start > All Programs > Atlas Copco
Tools AB > ACTLicense.
