On the upper-right corner of the following window, there is the Target Device drop-down list box. In the
Target Device drop-down list box, select Focus 61:
Turn the Focus 61 on by using the On/Off switch placed on the
bottom of the controller and wait until the initialization is completed.
Then verify that the PC and Focus 61 are connected with the same
network.
NOTE: The connection between the ToolsTalk BLM and the
Focus 61 is done via Ethernet.
To connect ToolsTalk BLM software with a specified Focus 61, do the following:
1. Click the arrow next to Connect to display Search Devices and IP Connection commands.
2. Click Search Devices command to update the list of controllers connected with the network in
real time. Then, select the necessary Focus 61.
It is also possible to click IP Connection command: it shows the IP Address Connection dialog
box which connects a specified Focus 61 with the network. Insert the IP Address of the specified
Focus 61 and click Connect.
