Note: For a description of the parameters included in this table,
refer to their individual parameter descriptions below.
Framing Method
[DS3Config_FramingMethod]
Determines the physical DS3 framing method for the interface.
[0] M23 = (Default) M23 framing.
[1] C Bit Parity = C Bit Parity.
Clock Source
[DS3Config_ClockSource]
Determines the DS3 clock mode for the interface.
[0] External = DS3 clock is recovered from the line.
[1] Local Board = (Default) DS3 trunk clock source is provided
by the device's internal clock.
Line Build Out
[DS3Config_LineBuildOut]
Determines the DS3 line build out (i.e., the level of signal transmit).
This level influences the cable length that can be used with the
device.
[2] = level 1
[3] = Level 2
[4] = Level 3
[5] = Level 4 (default)
[6] = Level 5
= Level 6
[DS3Config_CircuitIdentifier] Defines the interface SNMP name, which is represented by a string
of up to 15 characters. By default, no value is defined.
[DS3Config_TrapEnable] Enables SNMP traps for DS3.
[0] = Disable
= Enable (default)
[DS3Config_PmOnOff] Enables performance monitoring for the DS3 interface.
[0] = Disables performance monitoring for the specific DS3
interface.
= (Default) Enable.
[DS3Config_TappingEnable] Enables special DS3 Tapping mode. In this mode, the interface is
capable of receiving a signal with additional 14-dB attenuation to
the standard maximum length.
[0] = Disable (default)
= Enable
Administrative State
[DS3Config_AdminState]
Determines the DS3 interface Administrative status. When the
interface Administrative status is set to Down, all 28 underlying
DS1 interfaces are unavailable.
