Saving a new conguration
To save a conguration:
Select the Save Conguration option by scrolling with either encoder knob.
Press the encoder button to activate it.
When the Save Conguration window opens, a default le name New MixerName Cong
(based on the A640’s current Mixer Name setting) is selected. Any other congurations
previously saved to the USB device are shown in the list.
Press the enteR soft button on the A640 to start the process.
Accept the default name or edit the name as needed (scroll with the left encoder; choose a
character with the right encoder).
Use the cleaR command to reset the current le name. File names can use up to 32
characters and must contain at least one character *.
Press the SaVe soft button on the A640 to start the le saving process.
An on-screen progress bar is displayed and a conrmation message follows once the save
process is complete.
Press any button to exit the Save function and return to the File Transfer menu.
While editing the le name, a second set of 16 characters will become available once a character has
been added to position #16 in the name, indicated by a right triangle. Turn the encoder to access
additional characters for the name.
