(Note: F is the Favorite channel; A is the Ambience Mic channel.)
Any one of the standard mixer channel buttons may be assigned to the A640’s Favorite channel
button, allowing easy access to a frequently-used channel. Hold the FaVoRite button and press
a mixer channel button to assign it. The Favorite channel’s assignment is saved as part of a
conguration. The Ambience channel always uses the A640’s built-in mic in Pro16 mode.
The maximum number of audio sources you can hear in Pro16 mode is 16 (plus
the internal mic and Intercom audio).
Default Mode - 16 stereo channels
Default mode sets the 16 mix channel buttons on the A640 to stereo. Incoming network channels are
assigned as stereo pairs in sequential order. Network Slots 1-2 are assigned to mixer button #1, Slots
3-4 are assigned to button #2 and so on, up to button #16 which gets network Slots 31-32. Incoming
A-Net network Slots 33-64 are ignored (shown in gray in the table below).
