Liquid leakage around
cytometer base
Interior valve failure 1 Turn off the cytometer power.
2 Clean up the liquid, using
proper precautions.
3 Call BD Biosciences.
Aspirator arm locked,
cannot unload tube
Software not responding Do not use force to remove
tube from SIT.
1 Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to open
Task Manager.
2 Choose End Task to close
BD FACSCanto clinical
software or BD FACSDiva
software application.
3 Restart software and unload
tube.
Pressure loss Verify fluidics cart is powered on
and that air pressure hoses are
properly connected.
Fluidics error after
replacing sheath fluid or
emptying waste
Status change not yet detected
by software
After replacing or emptying fluids,
wait until software detects status
change before restarting
acquisition.
It can take up to 30 seconds for
the software to detect a fluid level
change.
