Invisible infrared beams
are used to con-
trol the long sides of the load platter.

If fruit and vegetable are incorrectly posi-
tioned, the infrared beam
is interrupted
and no weight value is transmitted to the
cash register. A signal that indicates the
weighing error is triggered. Only after the
operator corrected the position, the weight
value will be transmitted to the cash regis-
ter. See operating instructions provided by
scanner manufacturer.
