Operating Instructions ACU
The Current during Flux-Formation changes depending on the rotor time constant of the motor. The
settings of parameters Max. Flux-Formation Time 780 and Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 can
contribute to obtaining a constant flux formation time. With parameter Min. Flux-Formation Time
779, you can set the minimum current impression time. In this way, the time between a start signal
and the start of the drive can be defined. For proper setting of the parameters, you will have to
consider the rotor time constant, the starting torque required and parameter Current during Flux-
Formation 781.
Minimum flux formation time
The factory setting of parameter Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 depends on parameter
Configuration 30:
1)
Configurations 2xx/4xx
2)
Configurations 6xx
Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 = 0
Flux formation is stopped as soon
ï€ as the reference flux value or the
ï€ maximum flux formation time were reached
Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 > 0
Current is impressed for flux formation at least for this time
even if the reference flux value was reached.
Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 =
Max. Flux-Formation Time 780
Flux formation is stopped after the set flux formation time,
regardless of whether the reference flux value was reached
or not.
Min. Flux-Formation Time 779 >
Max. Flux-Formation Time 780
Flux formation is stopped after the maximum flux formation
time.
