7.8.10 Configuration 511 –Field-Oriented Control of Synchronous
Machine with Technology Controller
Configuration 511 extends the functionality of the field-oriented control of a synchronous machine of
Configuration 510 by a Technology Controller. The Technology Controller enables a control based on
parameters such as flow rate, pressure, filling level or speed.

7.8.11 Configuration 530 – Field-Oriented Control of a Synchronous
Machine Speed and Torque Controlled
Configuration 530 extends the functionality of Configuration 510 by functions for torque-dependent,
field-oriented control. The reference torque is represented as a percentage and it is transmitted into
the corresponding operational performance of the application. Change-over between variable-speed
control and torque-dependent control is done jerk-free during operation.
