16.1.2 Program the control panel with the Installer Services Portal programming
tool
The Installer Services Portal programming tool is available in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and
China.
How to create an Installer Services Portal programming tool panel account
1. Register for the Installer Services Portal at: www.sp.boschsecurity.com.
2. Make sure that the control panel is connected to the network.
3. Log into the Installer Services Portal programming tool.
4. To create a panel account, click on New and select Device.
5. Add the panel account information.
6. Activate the CloudID.
The Installer Services Portal programming tool searches the database for a registered ID.
7. Click Activate.
8. Click Add Panel.
How to connect and send using the Installer Services Portal programming tool
1. Search or select a device to connect to a control panel.
2. To find a new account, type in the panel account name in the Search field.
3. Select the panel account.
4. Click Connect.
5. Click Configuration.
6. Program your configuration information.
7. To send programming, click the 3 vertical dots and select Push Pending Changes to
Panel.
8. Click Disconnect when the programming is complete.

16.1.3 Program the control panel with a keypad

16.2 Walk tests
When you do a walk test, the control panel test the points assigned to areas in the scope of
the keypad scope. During a walk test, the points do not work normally. The points only show
that you tested them.
You can perform four different types of walk tests on this system. The tests terminate after 20
min of inactivity.
All point verification is disabled for all points during any walk test.
The control panel sends Walk Test Start and Walk Test End reports to the central station
receiver.
16.2.1 Fire walk test
A fire walk test allows you to test all visible, 24-hr points.
A fire walk test includes multiple point types. Points must meet the following criteria:
– Have a point source other than Unassigned
– Have a point profile not set to Disabled (must be non-zero)
– Are not service bypassed
– Are not invisible points
– Have a point type of Keyswitch maintained, Keyswitch momentary, Open/Close Point,
Fire, Aux AC Supervision, or Gas
