Document cover hinges and ADF reinforcement plate
(5) Remove the three screws from each of the document cover hinges.
The right-hand document cover hinge comes off.
Note: Two screws "b" shown below secure also the ADF reinforcement plate.
(6) Slightly lift up the rear end of the ADF reinforcement plate and slide the plate to the rear.
The left-hand document cover hinge also comes off.
(7) Remove the grounding spring "x."
