Remote/Manual

The Remote/Manual menu gives the operator the ability to control the instrument
manually using the keypad or via a remote computer. The Remote/Manual menu is accessed
by pressing the key on the Main Menu. The current setting (Remote Mode) is displayed in
the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Example: SREM.
The analyzer can be controlled remotely via:
• TCP/IP Modbus
• RS-232 AK Protocol
• Digital inputs (contact closure) located on the rear of the analyzer.
AK Protocol works with both TCP/IP and Serial. Modbus only works with TCP/IP.
