Verify Alarm Output Connections
2. Verify major output alarm functions as follows.
• Enter the following command to simulate major alarm.
set alarms major on
Requirement: Major alarm relay output contacts close (see Figure 6-16 on page 6-29).
Requirement: Active Controller card Major Alarm indicator lights (Figure 6-30).
• Enter the following command to turn off major alarm.
set alarms major off
Requirement: Major alarm relay output contacts open.
Requirement: Active Controller card Major Alarm indicator goes off.
3. Verify minor output alarm functions as follows.
• Enter the following command to simulate minor alarm.
set alarms minor on
Requirement: Minor alarm relay output contacts close (see Figure 6-16 on page 6-29).
Requirement: Active Controller card Minor Alarm indicator lights (Figure 6-30).
• Enter the following command to turn off minor alarm.
set alarms minor off
Requirement: Minor alarm relay output contacts open.
Requirement: Active Controller card Minor Alarm indicator goes off.
