Security: Level 2 (operator)
Syntax: set ds1 <n> line <loopdown|loopup>
Example: set ds1 9 line loopdown
Set DS1 Linecode
Purpose: Sets the line code for the DS1 to AMI (alternate mark inversion) or B8ZS (binary 8 zero
substitution). GR-303 switch DS1s use B8ZS.
Security: Level 2 (operator)
Syntax: set ds1 <n> linecode <ami|b8zs>
Example: set ds1 9 linecode b8zs
Field Description
n DS1 number, 1 to 32, or a range of numbers such as 2-8.
loopup Enable line loopback.
loopdown Disable line loopback.

ami Set AMI line coding.
b8zs Set B8ZS line coding.
