CLI Command List
Set DS0 P-Phone
Purpose: Assigns DS0 channels for P-Phone service. The set ds0 pphone none command is
used to remove the P-Phone assignment from a DS0.
NOTE: This command only applies to P-Phone (EBS) channels from remote
Adit 600 terminals using Carrier Access IP (CAIP) remote management (see
Set DS1 Remote Device Mgmt on page 18-113.) When connected to a Nortel
DMS switch, each Access Navigator can support up to 384 P-Phone channels
from up to 14 remote Adit 600 terminals.
Security: Level 2 (operator)
Syntax: set ds0 <n:ch> pphone
Syntax: set ds0 <n:ch> pphone none
Example: set ds0 10:1 pphone
Example: set ds0 10:2 pphone none
Example: set ds0 12:9-16 pphone
Field Description
n DS1 number, 1 to 32.
ch DS0 number, 1 to 24, or a range of numbers such as 5-8.
pphone Set DS0 to carry P-Phone service.
none Removes P-Phone assignment.
