Ethernet Link Status LED
NOTE: An Ethernet connection is required for management by SNMP and Telnet CLI.
The Ethernet Link Status LED is located on the rear panel, next to the Ethernet connector.

Yellow Line code violation (LCV) The DS1 interface received an LCV
transmission error. LCVs can occur with
faulty wiring, poor signal quality, or a
line code mismatch (AMI and B8ZS) at
the two ends.
Yellow Flashing Yellow alarm The Access Navigator will display a
yellow alarm when it receives an LOS
alarm signal. (See red LED state
discussion.)

LED State Description Troubleshooting
Off No link or connection Check cable connections.
Green Link okay LED lights in response to presence of
Ethernet timing pulses. A green LED
indicates that the Ethernet link is okay,
but does not verify that the Access
Navigator is receiving or processing
Telnet. (See note above.)
