Configure Remote T1 Drop Interface (if used)
3. Set remote T1 Drop framing to D4 (SF) or ESF with the following command:
set remote <n> t1drop framing <d4|esf>
Example: set remote 11 t1drop framing d4
4. Set remote T1 Drop line buildout (lbo) to the required DSX-1 equalization or CSU attenuation with
the following command:
set remote <n> t1drop lbo <setting>
Example: set remote 11 t1drop lbo 1
The setting is a number from 1 to 9, and is defined as follows:

1 Set DSX-1 equalization for 0-133 ft.
2 Set DSX-1 equalization for 133-266 ft.
3 Set DSX-1 equalization for 266-399 ft.
4 Set DSX-1 equalization for 399-533 ft.
5 Set DSX-1 equalization for 533-666 ft.
6 Set CSU attenuation for LBO of 0dB.
7 Set CSU attenuation for LBO of -7.5dB.
8 Set CSU attenuation for LBO of -15dB.
9 Set CSU attenuation for LBO of -22.5dB.
5. Set remote T1 Drop line coding to AMI (alternate mark inversion) or B8ZS (binary 8 zero
substitution with the following command:
set remote <n> t1drop linecode <ami|b8zs>
Example: set remote 11 t1drop linecode b8zs
6. Set remote T1 Drop performance message (PRM) format to A&T 54016 or ANSI T1.402 with the
following command:
set remote <n> t1drop prm <ansi|att>
Example: set remote 11 t1drop prm att
