aircleaner.Itcanthusbereachedbyopeningtheleft-
handdoor.
Thebatterydisconnectswitchallowstocutoffanypower
supplyintheelectricalsystemofthemachine.
NOTE:WhentheswitchisturnedtoOFFposition,allelec-
tricalcircuitsarecutoffandthestationsstoredonthera-
diopresetsandthetimesetfortheclockwillbecleared.

ThebatterydisconnectswitchshallbeinONpositionfor
normaloperation.
Thebatterydisconnectswitchshallbeturnedto
OFFpositiononlywhentakingtheactionsbelowfor
inspection,repairandwelding:
1.Batteriesremoval.
2.Electricalsystemconnectorsremoval.
3.Serviceontheelectricalsystem.
4.Long-termstorage.
NOTICE:NeverturnthebatterydisconnectswitchtoOFF
positionwiththeenginerunning.Thiscoulddamagethe
electricalsystem.
Thebatterydisconnectswitchshallneverbeturnedto
OFFpositionwithin3minaftertheengineisstopped.
NOTICE:TheSCRsystemcontinuestooperateforap-
proximately3minafterthestarterkeyisturnedoffin
ordertosuckDEF/ADBLUE®backintothetank.DEF/
ADBLUE®expandswhenfreezing,anditwillthusdam-
agethelinesoftheSCRsystem.
NOTICE:NeverturnthebatterydisconnectswitchtoOFF
positionwithin3minafterthestarterkeyisturnedoff.The
machinecontrolsystemandtheenginecontrolsystemwill
bedamaged.
TheLEDindicator(1)abovethebatterydisconnectswitch
islitupinyellowasthemaincontrolsystemsarestillop-
eratingaftertheenginestop.Neverturnthebatterydis-
connectswitchtoOFFpositionwhentheLEDindicator
(1)islitupinyellow.
