Cleantheelectromagneticfeedpumpperiodically
Thefeedpumpislocatedbehindthefuelpre-lter.T o
cleanthefeedpumpproceedasfollows:
1.Placeacontainerwithanappropriatecapacityunder
thefeedpump.
2.Closethevalveofthefuelpre-lter.
3.Disconnecttheelectriccablefromthefeedpump.
Carefullydisconnectthefuellinesfromthefeedpump.
4.Removethemountingscrewsandtakeoutthefeed
pumpforcleaning.

5.Openthepumpbody,andpulloutthelter(2)andthe
seals(1)and(3).
6.Cleanthelterbycompressedair.Checkthelter,and
replaceitifnecessary.
7.Replacetheseals(1)and(3).
8.Cleanthebody(4)andthecover(5)carefully.
Makesurethatthefeedpumpisfreefromtheaccumu-
lationofdirt.
9.Attachtheseals(1)and(3)tothelter(2)inthecorrect
order,thencarefullyinsertthesealsandthelterinto
thepumpbody.Closethecover(5)ontothepumpbody
(4).
10.Installthefeedpumpwiththemountingscrews.
11.Connectthefuellinestothefeedpump.Connectthe
electriccabletothefeedpump.
12.Bleedthefuelsystem.Refertopage6-11.
