1.Lowertheattachmentuntilitisrestingontheground.
2.Turntheenginethrottle(1)tolowidleposition.
3.Waitforthegreencoolingdownicontoappear.
Theenginehascooleddownandcanbe
stopped.
NOTICE:Iftheengineisstoppedbeforetheiconap-
pears,thelubricatedsectionontheturbochargergets
driedfromthehighheat,leadingtoaturbochargerfail-
ure.

4.Turnthestarterkey(2)toOFFposition.
NOTICE:TheSCRsystemcontinuestooperatefor
approximately3minafterthestarterkeyisturnedoff
inordertosuckDEF/ADBLUE®backintothetank.
DEF/ADBLUE®expandswhenfreezing,anditwillthus
damagethelinesoftheSCRsystem.Thisisconsid-
erednormal,andrequiresnoactionfromtheoperator.
Emergencystopswitch
Intheeventofanemergencyorifitisnotpossibletostop
theengineusingthestarterkey,presstheemergency
stopswitchlocateddowntheleft-handconsole.
NOTE:Thisswitchshouldonlybeusedincaseofan
emergency.Donotuseitonaday-to-daybasistostop
theengine.
