1.Parkthemachineonaatandlevelplace.Stopthe
engine,andremovethestarterkey.
2.Afterstoppingtheenginefor30minormore,raiseand
xtheenginehood.
Removetheoilgauge(1),andwipeoiloffthegauge
withacleancloth.
Reinserttheoilgaugeintotheguidetubeasfarasit
willgo,andthentakeitout.

3.Theengineoillevelisoptimalwhentheoillevelisbe-
tweenthemark(A)(minimum)andmark(B)(maxi-
mum).
4.Iftheoillevelisatorbelowthemark(A)(minimum)
ontheoilgauge,removethellplug(2)andpourinoil
untilthelevelreachesthemark(B)(maximum).
NOTE:Makesurethattheoillevelisnotabovethe(B)
(maximum)ontheoilgauge.Doingsowillcausesuch
problemsaspoorfueleconomyandanabnormalrisein
coolanttemperature.
