Preparationbeforeliftingthemachine
Alwaysliftthemachinewiththecompletefrontequipment(boomandarm)installed,andttedwithanaveragesize
bucket.Neverliftthemachinettedwithheavyattachmentsashydraulicbreakersorhydrauliccrushers.
NOTICE:ifthemachinehastobeliftedwithoutthecompletefrontequipment(boomandarm),thecounterweight
shallberemovedfromthebasemachine.Liftingupthebasemachinewiththecounterweightinstalledaffectsthe
stabilityofthebasemachineduringliftingoperation.
Makeprovisionforwireropesandotherliftingdevicesofpropercapacityinordertotacklethemachineweight.Refer
toChapter8forthemachineweights,andalwaysconsider120%ofthesereferenceweightsfortheselectionofthe
liftingdevices.
Refertothepictureonthenextpageforlayoutandsizingofthewireropesandoftheotherliftingdevicestobeused.
Alwaysmakesuretocheckthemachinestabilitybeforecarryingouttheliftingoperation.
NOTICE:Asreferenceguideline,eachoneoftheanglesAandBbetweenthewireropesandthemiddleofthe
expandershouldbepreliminaryassumedat15°.However,thesevaluesshallbecheckedandthuscalibratedto
tackletheactualmachineconguration.TheoverallangleA+Bshallbeanywaykeptat30–35°.
NOTICE:ForliftingofCX145Dwithblade,itisrecommendedtopositionthemachineasforroadtransport,withthe
bladeandthefrontequipmentoppositetoeachother.
Makeprovisionforwireropesandotherliftingdevicesttedwithselockinghooksinordertoavoidunintendedopen-
ingduringliftoperation.
Makeprovisionforwireropesofsufcientlengthandexpanderofpropersizetopreventinterferencewiththemachine
bodywhenliftingupthemachine.Coverthewireropeswithpaddingswheretheygetincontactwiththemachine
framesinordertoprotectthemachinefromdamaging.
