1.Setthemachineinthepositionfortransport:fullyretractthearm,curlthebucketandlowertheboom.Placethe
gatelockleverinlockposition.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterkey.Checktheoperator'scompartmentfor
anylooseitem,tools,etc.thatcouldfallorcauseaproblemorinjuryduringtheprocedureandremoveorsecure
them.Getoffthemachine.Retracttheradioantenna.Foldtherearviewmirrors.Lockthecabdoorandtheside
panels.Removethefoursidesteps(S).
2.Checkforliftingpointdecalsontheundercarriageofthemachineinordertoknowwherethewireropesshall
berouted.Pass-throughtherstwireropebetweenthersttwolowerrollersonthefrontofthemachineun-
dercarriage.Pass-throughthesecondwireropebetweenthetwolastlowerrollersontherearofthemachine
undercarriage.
3.Linkthefrontwireropeandtherearwireropetotheexpander.Slowlylifttheexpandertotensionthewireropes
inordertoreachthelayoutoftheliftingdevicesshowningure.
4.Carryoutanalcheckofthelinkagesontheexpanderandthenstartliftingthemachine.
5.Liftthemachineslowlyandverticallyandmakesureforitsstability.Ifneeded,lowerthemachinetotheground
slowlyandcalibratethelayoutofthewireropestotackletheactualmachineconguration.
NOTICE:TheoverallangleA+Bshallbekeptat30–35°.
6.Completetheverticalliftuptotheheightoftheplatformwherethemachinehastobeplaced.Slowlymovethe
cranelaterallytogetthemachinerightovertheplatform.Gentlylowerthemachinetotheplatform.
NOTICE:alwaysavoidslidingmovementsofthecrane(liftandmovelaterallyatthesametime).Slidingmovements
denitelyaffectmachinestabilityduringliftingoperation.
