materialsmainlyhandledonthejobsiteandtheoperator'sdiggingstyle.
NOTICE:sometypesofteethhaveasymmetricaldesignthatallowstoipthemincaseofunevenwear.Consult
theCASECONSTRUCTIONDEALERorthebucketsupplierandmakesuretounderstandtheproperpracticesto
increasetheservicelifeoftheteeth,asforexampleippingandswapping.
NOTICE:Neverworkwithatooththatiscompletelyworn:theadapteronthebucketwillbeseriouslydamaged.
TheCASECONSTRUCTIONbucketsareequippedwiththeSMARTFITteethsystemthatallowseithertoeasily
replaceaworntooth,ortoeasilyswitchbetweenseveraltypesofteeth.
ToreplaceaSMARTFITbuckettoothproceedasfol-
lows:
1.Positionthemachineonahardandlevelground.Place
thebottomsideofthebucketonablocksothatthe
bucketteethareaheadoftheblock.

2.Placethegatelockleverincentralposition,stopthe
engineandremovethestarterkey.
3.Turnthelockingstudofthemountingpin90°counter-
clockwiseusinganhexagonalwrench.

4.Extractthemountingpin.
5.Checkthemountingpinforwearordamages.
6.Extractthetoothfromtheadapteronthebucket.
NOTICE:Ifthetoothdoesnoteasilycomeoutfromthe
adapter,hitonitssideswithahammerasthematingsur-
facescomeunstuck.

7.Cleanthematingsurfacesontheadapter.Checkthe
adapterforwearanddamages.
8.Insertanewtoothasitcompletelymatetheadapter.
