TwotypesofFGPSareavailable:aFGPScompliantwith
Level1asdenedbyISO10262,oraFGPScompliant
withLevel2asdenedbyISO10262.
Level1FGPSisintendedforprotectionfromsmallob-
jects,e.g.smallrocks,smalldebrisandothersmallob-
jectsencounteredinoperationssuchashighwaymainte-
nance,landscapingandotherconstructionsiteservices.
Level2FGPSisintendedforprotectionfromlargeob-
jects,e.g.largerocks,largedebrisandotherlargeobjects
encounteredinapplicationssuchasconstruction,mining
anddemolition.
NOTICE:FGPSisanoperatorprotectivestructure,andit
isaspecialsafetycomponentofyourmachine.
DONOTattachanydevicetotheprotectivestructurefor
pullingpurposes.DONOTdrillholestotheprotective
structure.
Theprotectivestructureandinterconnectingcomponents
areacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,corrosion,or
modicationwillweakenthestructureandreduceyour
protection.Ifthisoccurs,THEPROTECTIVESTRUC-
TUREMUSTBEREPLACEDsothatitwillprovidethe
sameprotectionasanewprotectivestructure.Contact
yourdealerforprotectivestructureinspectionandre-
placement.Afteranaccident,re,tipover,orrollover,
thefollowingMUSTbeperformedbyaqualiedtech-
nicianbeforereturningthemachinetoeldorjob-site
operations:
•TheprotectivestructureMUSTBEREPLACED.
•Themountingorsuspensionfortheprotectivestructure,
andmountingcomponentsMUSTbecarefullyinspected
fordamage.
•AlldamagedpartsMUSTBEREPLACED.DONOT
WELD,DRILLHOLES,ATTEMPTTOSTRAIGHTEN,OR
REPAIRTHEPROTECTIVESTRUCTURE.MODIFICA-
TIONINANYWAYCANREDUCETHESTRUCTURAL
INTEGRITYOFTHESTRUCTURE,WHICHCOULD
CAUSEDEATHORSERIOUSINJURYINTHEEVENT
OFFIRE,TIPOVER,ROLLOVER,COLLISION,OR
ACCIDENT.
