Replacementofbelt
NOTICE:Ifthebeltbreaks,themessageALTERNATORisdisplayed.Stoptheengine,removethestarterkey,and
thenreplacethebelt.
1.Loosenthelocknut(1)andthemountingbolt(2).
2.Lightlytightenthelocknut(1)untilitsseatingface
touches.
3.Removethebeltfromthepulleytopullitoutfrom
cutoutportionofthefanguide.
4.Insertthenewbeltfromthefanguidetomount
itbyaligningittogrooveofeachpulley.Rotate
theadjustbolt(3)toadjusttensionofthebeltto
becomestandardvalue.
5.Tightenthelocknut(1)andthemountingbolt(2)
thathavebeenloosenedwithspeciedtorque.
6.Afteradjustment,runtheengineinidlingspeedfor
approximately5min,andthenstoptheengineto
re-checktensionofthebelt.

2.Placeareceptacleofasuitablecapacityunderthe
drainplug.
3.Openthedrainplugonthebottomofthetankanddrain
thesedimentandwateraccumulatedatthebottomof
thetank.
4.Afterdraining,closethedrainplug.
5.Addhydraulicoilifnecessary.
