Whentheoatingringreachesthelevelindicatedby
theline(A):
1.Placeacontainerwithanappropriatecapacityunder
thepre-lter.
2.Loosenthedrainplug(1)andtheairbleedscrew(2),
andthendrainwaterandsediment.
3.Whentheoatingringreachesthebottom,tightenthe
drainplug(1)andtheairbleedscrew(2)tothetorque
of2–3N·m(1.48–2.21lbft)andof7.9–11.7N·m
(5.83–8.63lbft)respectively.
NOTICE:Overtighteningcandamagetheseal.
4.Checkforanysignsofleaks.
NOTICE:Incoldweather,watermayfreezeontopofthe
pre-lterbody.Waituntilicemeltsbeforedrainage.
