1.TurnthestarterkeytoOFFposition.Wait3minforSCRsystemtocompletelysuckDEF/AdBlue®backintothe
tank.
2.Unlocktheright-handdoor(1)withthestarterkey.
3.UnlocktheDEF/AdBlue®tankcover(2)withthestarterkey.
4.WipetheinletontheDEF/AdBlue®tank(3)cleanofdirt,mud,andforeignobjects.
NOTICE:somewhitepowderdepositsmayformwhenDEF/AdBlue®adheresanddriesinplacessuchasthe
supplyinlet.WipeoffthesedepositstopreventthemfromenteringtheDEF/AdBlue®tank.
5.Turnthecap(3)counterclockwiseandopenthellerneck.
NOTICE:DEF/AdBlue®mayemitanodorwhenthetankcapisopened.Donotattempttosmellinsidethetank
fromthesupplyinlet.
6.RelluptotheF(upperlimit)mark(5)onthelevelgauge(4).
NOTICE:neverrellDEF/AdBlue®overtheF(upperlimit)markonthelevelgauge.Adequateairvolumemust
bepresentinthetopofthetankforproperfunctionalityoftheaftertreatmentsystem.Moreover,DEF/AdBlue®
mayleaksfromthebreatherhoseduringuse,andsensorsmaybedamagedwhenitbecomesfrozen.
NOTICE:ifDEF/AdBlue®spillswhileadding,wipeoffthespillagewithaclothandthenrinsetheareawithfresh
water.DEF/AdBlue®willcausecorrosiononpaintedandunpaintedmetallicsurfaces,andmaydistortsome
plasticandrubbercomponents.
7.Putthecap(3)onthellerneck.Turnthecapclockwisetoclosethellerneck.
