thatthebucketlinkagelaysontheblock(B).
3.Checktheoverallheightbetweenthegroundandthe
highestpointofthemachineandchecktheoverall
widthofthemachine.Makesuretobewithinthesize
limitsdenedbeforetransport,inordertoconrmdoc-
umentsandpermissionsalreadygottocomplytothe
localtrafcregulations.
4.Placethegatelockleverinlockposition.Stopthe
engineandremovethestarterkey.
5.Getoffthemachine.Retracttheradioantenna.Fold
therearviewmirrors.
6.Lockthecabdoorandthesidepanels.
7.Checktheconditionofthetie-downpointsonthe
trailer.
8.Securethemachineontothetrailerusingchocks(C),
chains(D),wireropes(A)topreventthemachine
fromswaying(oscillation)duringtransport.Secure
thebladetothetrailerbypassingchainsthroughthe
chainmountingholesontheblade(fortransport)and
tensioningthechainsinanXshape.Securetherear
ofthelowerframeinthesamemannerusingchains.
9.Carryoutanalcheckofthetie-downcondition.
10.Ifarearloadingtypetrailerisusedforroadtransport,
liftorremovetheloadingramps.
11.Removeblocksfromthetiresofthetrailer.
