3.1.4. Unplug the plug of the evaporator thermostat.
3.1.5. Disassemble the mode throttle hitch bar.
3.1.6. Remove the temperature control throttle bar.
3.1.7. Loosen off the 8 screws on the heater shiled, and disassemble
the evaporator shield.
Notes: The sponge weather strips around the shield are for single use
only.
3.1.8. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry off the clips that fix the air
conditioner cover plate assembly.
