Tilt Module
Assign, Speed Limit in Bands 0, 1, 2 and 3 as Operation.
Each input can also be linked to an actuator function via the parameters: Assign, Channel x Up: Inhibit in Bands and Channel x
Down: Inhibit in Bands.
TILT EXAMPLE
Application: A wheelchair is fitted with a reclining seat. It is required to offer a programmable angle of recline to suit different
users. A TM is fitted to the recline mechanism and the forward tilt input has been assigned to Inhibit 8 used by the TM.
In this example the TM is programmed to Orientation 8 and the Recline motor has been connected to Actuator Channel 1.
The Inhibit input must be assigned to a specific software Inhi bit. As this is an Actuator Inhibit, the parameters Actuator Inhibits
Channel 1 - Up: Assign & Down: Assign should be used.
The inputs are therefore assigned to Actuator Inhibits Channel 1 as follows:
Down: Assign - Input 8
As these inputs are connected to the TM the threshold levels must be set in the parameter Inputs – ASM/TM.
The Inhibit 8 thresholds are set in degrees as follows
This gives a band arrangement as follows
