RAID1 are damaged at the same time.
Appendix H-3 RAID Capacity Calculation
Total Space of the N disks.
The total amount of N*HDD=HDD space *HDD amount.
Note
capacityN refers to the disk of mini space among all the member HDDs.
Appendix H-4 RAID Usage Suggestions
For the environment of high HDD read-write speed and no security requirements, you can use
RAID0. Please note RAID0 is the most vulnerable level and has no redundant function. System
loses all data once any HDD becomes malfunction.
For the environment of high security level and no HDD read-write speed requirements, please use
RAID1.
For the environment of high security level and HDD read-write speed at the same time, please use
RAIOD5.
Always use the HDD of the same brand in case there is high HDD read-write speed difference. For
RAID1/RAID5/RAID10, the HDD shall be of the same space and of the same model. It is to utmost
exert the HDD usage rate and performance.
