The infeed conveyor transports the product placed between the pushers (Fig. 15.2 pos. 3).
The pusher that transports the product is inserted into a pusher support (Fig. 15.3 pos. 1).
The pusher support in turn is fixed to the chain with a pin (Fig. 15.3 pos. 2) the distance
between each pusher is determined by counting the number of chain links (each1/2 inch),
the distance between each pusher is longer than the product length.
The machine can be fitted with a gear shift in order to pack long and short products (ratio
1:1 and 1:2 or 1:1 and 1:3) in this case the pusher supports are coloured so that the
correct pusher position can be determined.

When the long or short pitch is used, the ratio between the infeed conveyor and the jaws
must correspond, this ratio is obtained on the control panel (touch screen).
