15.2 Pusher support dismantling and assembly
To replace or assemble the pusher support proceed as follows:

a) Disconnect the main electrical supply from the machine.
b) If the pusher support broke during normal machine running, check to understand
the cause of the break down.
c) Dismantle the infeed conveyor side guides by unscrewing the four black knobs (Fig. 15.2
pos. 2)
d) Dismantle the forming box (if it is an adjustable forming box) loosen the blocking hand
wheel.
e) Dismantle the nose plate by loosening the 4 crews M4 with a screw driver.
f) Dismantle the stainless steel covers over the infeed conveyor by removing the screw M5
with a screwdriver (Fig. 15.6 pos. 1). If the machine is fitted with a fixed forming box,
dismantle the forming plates (disregard point e).
g) Move the infeed conveyor until the broken pusher support is near the drive sprocket.
With the aid of a pin remover push out the 4 mm elastic pin that fastens the pusher
support to the chain (Fig. 15.3 pos. 2). When assembling the new pusher support, make
sure it is position exactly in the same position as the one removed. If the pusher support
is assembled in the wrong position the product will not be in phase with the sealing jaws.
h) Re-assemble the parts dismantled.
