16.4 Fixed adjustable forming box
The packaging machine is equipped with a shaping tunnel composed of a trainer fixed /
adjustable, which allows to adjust according to the size of the product
To adjust the width and the tunnel follow the following steps:
a) Flyer that allows adjustment of the channel of the trainer. Turning the hand wheel (Fig.
16.3.1, pos. counterclockwise channel forming (Fig. 16.3.1, pos. 2) widens; turning it
clockwise narrows the channel of the trainer.
b) Be careful when narrows the channel trainer: the distance between the two cores (Fig.
16.3.1, pos. 3) must not be less than the gap of passage of the blades (Fig. 16.3.1,
pos. 4) on the infeed bel.

To adjust the height and position the film follow the following steps:
a) Loosen the knob (Fig. 16.3.2 pos.1).
b) While holding the knob (Fig. 16.3.2 pos. 2) raise or lower the tension film (Fig. 16.3.2
pos. 3) for the insertion of the film according to the height of the product.
c) Make sure that the bearings (Fig. 16.3.2 pos. 4) against which the film flows are
disconnected from the cores (Fig. 16.3.1, pos. 3) of at least 15-20 mm.
