ATTENTION The adjustment of the conical grub screws must be carried out
a little at a time. It is important that the knife does not knock against the anvil as
this will cause the knife to wear more quickly.
8.6 Replacement of the brushes on the slip ring holders
a) Disconnect the main electrical supply to the machine by switching off the main plug
from the machine ( Fig.8.5.1 Back view of the machine pos.1).
• To replace the brushes on the sealing jaw slip rings, dismantle the back guard.
• To replace the brushes on the fin wheels slip rings, dismantle the guard under
the fin wheels.
b) Loosen with a screw driver the screws that hold the carbon brushes ( Fig.8.6.1 pos. 1).
c) Remove the worn out carbon brushes and replace with the new ones.
d) Fasten the screws of the replaced brushes (Fig.8.6.1 pos. 1) with a screw driver.
