18.6 Periodically lubrication
ATTENTION
Disconnect the main electrical supply to the machine before any lubrication. The
work is carried out on the machine. Disconnect the main electrical supply by
turning the main door block switch on the back door.
Periodically lubricate the ball bearing support.

Transverse sealing jaw assembly lubricate every 400 working hours
Proceed as follows:
a) Remove the hand wheel by loosening the grub screw M6 positioned on the side of the
hand wheel, also loosen the front Allen bolt M6 on the front of the hand wheel.
b) If the machine is fitted with a hand wheel with clutch (optional), only loosen the front
allen key bolt.
c) Dismantle the front and back guard by removing the bolts that fasten it to the machine
body.
d) Dismantle the front guard on the machine by removing the bolts that fasten it to the
machine body.
e) Inject high temperature grease in the 4 grease nipples, with the aid of the grease pump
supplied with the machine tool box. The grease nipples are positioned on the shafts that
support the transverse sealing jaws.
f) Grease (General grease) the upper and lower transmission gears of the transverse
sealing jaws. Pay attention not to apply grease to the slip rings and brush holders.
g) After having completed the above operation, re-assemble all the guards previously
removed. Do not for any reason switch on the machine before having carried out this
operation.
