Any adjustment made to the tunnel for bag adaptation can be checked with the measuring
bars located close to the calibration levers and then recorded for future needs.
The adjustable forming tunnel is supplied with a pair of wings which allows to wrap a wide
variety of products.
For particular needs the Manufacturer can supply the machine with more than a pair of
wings (see the final test form for wings-bags coupling).
The wings are substituted as follows:
a) Slightly loosen the 4 bolts M6 (Fig. 16.2.1 pos. 4).
b) Remove the wings
c) Assemble the new wings.
d) Fasten the 4 bolts and pay attention that the wings are perfectly equal one to each
other. This is obtained by pushing them against the milled edge.
ATTENTION
After having adjusted the forming box, make sure that the two limbs of the
wrapping material that go towards the forming box wings are equal in tension. To
achieve the correct tension slightly loosen the blocking handwheel (Fig. 16.2.4
pos. 1) and move the calander arm ( Fig. 16.2.4 pos. 2) horizontally, once the
correct tension is achieved, re-block the blocking handle ( Fig. 16.2.4 pos. 1).
