a) The adjustment for the centering of the belt is done by turning the two allen bolts (Fig.
17.2 pos. 2).
b) Turn the screw accordingly (half a turn at a time), if the conveyor is near to the side
plate turn the screw so that the roller comes towards you, or vice versa the screw on the
other side (pay attention not to over tension the belt, as this may cause easy wear and
tear of the moving parts.
c) After the adjustment, run the machine as fast as possible in order to make sure that the
belt remains in the center. If the belt tends to move to the opposite side, repeat the
above operation again
Belt tension adjustment
Make sure the tension of the belt is sufficient to allow the driving roller to turn the belt. Be
careful not to apply excessive tension as this will cause easy wear and tear to the belt and
ball bearings. To adjust the tension proceed as follows:
a) If the belt is to loose, then fasten the two screws (Fig. 17.2 pos. 2) in equal amount.
b) If the belt is to tight then loosen the two screws (Fig. 17.2 pos. 2) in equal amount.
ATTENTION
After having completed the above with care, run the machine at a very low speed,
and slowly turn up the speed to the maximum possible for a couple of minutes, so
that the belts stabilizes itself. The design of the conveyor permits a very wide
contact with the driving roller, this ensures the belts stability and therefore
reduces maintenance.
The above maintenance work must be carried out by specialized personnel.
ATTENTION
To replace the feeding conveyor a suitable technical preparation is necessary.
Contact the Manufacturer/Seller for assistance before carrying out this task.
