The anti-friction wheel has a presence sensor (pos. 1 fig. 6.7). When the wheel is lifted for
the reel replacement, an automatic blow keep the film stationary through the rolls.

The automatic film junction has a blowpipe (pos. 1 fig. 6.8A), which helps the new film to
develop through the rolls (pos. 2 fig. 6.8A). The distance between the rolls and the pressure
against the film are regulated automatically by pneumatic cylinders (pos. 3 fig. 6.8A).
