Adjusting Print Darkness
You can adjust print darkness in eleven steps.
To make the print darker, select “DARK” (increased ink transfer amount). To make the print lighter, select
“LIGHT” (reduced ink transfer amount).

Check that printing is not in progress.
IMPORTANT
• Press (STOP) key if a print run is in progress.

Open the panel cover.

Press (PRINT DARKNESS) key to select
the darkness.
A list of the print darkness ratios is displayed on the LCD
panel.

Press “CURSOR” keys to select “PRINT
DARKNESS” each range, and then
press (OK) key.
Each press of “CURSOR” keys moves to a different ratio.
The print darkness ratio is set when the cursor is moved to
one ratio.
Tips
•To exit plate darkness, select one of the following
two methods:
•Press (PRINT DARKNESS) key, select
MEDIUM using “CURSOR” keys, and
press (OK) key.
• Press (ALL CLEAR) key. In this case, all
settings are reset to standard mode
(a page 26). However, that when initial
settings have been changed in user setting, the
currently set print density is returned to.
