Sequence
After changing to a different needle thickness, always adjust
the clearance between the hook and the needle
( Service Instructions).
Disturbance
An incorrect hook distance can
cause the following disturbances:
• Changing to a thinner needle:
•
Missing stitches
• Thread damage
• Changing to a thicker needle:
• Damage to the hook tip
• Damage to the needle
