6.3.2 Sewing process
This is how you sew without fullness:
1. Set all fullness values to 0 ( p. 72).
2. Input the values for needle thread
tension and stitch length.
3. Press the pedal forwards and sew.
 The length in mm sewn in the seam is displayed.
When the thread is cut, the display is reset.
This is how you sew with fullness:
1. Change the desired fullness ( p. 72).
2. Push the pedal forwards and sew.
Parameters Meaning
Manual Backtack Manual bartack
Needle Stop Position Up Needle position up when sewing stops
Value range: 1 (= on) or 0 (= off)
Foot Stroke Alternation Sewing foot alternation whilst the needle is
in the sewing material
Value range: 0 – 2.5 mm
Foot Pressure Sewing foot pressure
Value range: 1 – 10
Backtack at Start Bartack at seam beginning
Value range: 1 (= on) or 0 (= off)
Backtack at End Bartack at seam end
Value range: 1 (= on) or 0 (= off)
Thread Trimmer Thread trimmer
Value range: 1 (= on) or 0 (= off)
