5.5 Commands of the boot monitor
The following table provides an overview of the boot monitor commands:

Command Meaning
ipconf Configures the network parameters for the ethernet interface
ver Displays the versions of the bootloader and of the currently loaded firmware
sz [filename] Transmits the currently loaded
firmware to the PC under the specified name by
means of the Z-modem
rz After the selection of 'Send files', this command is transmitted implicitly to the
co
ntroller by the connected terminal program and is used for the transmission
of the firmware or the bootloader to the controller. For transmitting, the proto-
col ZMODEM is to be selected.
quit Terminates the bootmonitor and star
ts the loaded firmware
reboot Resets the controller
help Displays the commands of
the bootmonitor
delfirm Removes the controller firmware. The bootloader
stays on the controller and
provides the netboot functionality to transfer the firmware from the StdHMI to
the controller. The controller doesn‘t work stand-alone anymore.
